A departure from his mostly jazz-influenced Failure of the Doping Summit, Accidentals of the West captures the beauty of the Mississippi River and the wild frontier to the west.
Performing all of the instruments on the record (acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, steel guitar, and more), Goodrich melds his jazz-training with the folk and blues tradition to create what is essentially his own American sound.
